It's DataExpert EXP8551 board. Their site http://www.dataexpert.com.tw is currently down.

The latest AMI BIOS I could find for your board was:

http://212.76.48.153/DRIVERS/BIOSY/DATA ... 1AMI30.zip

51-0611-001107-00111111-071595-82430FX
EXP8551S Ver 3.0b <Plug n Play BIOS>

What I can't guarantee is if it's the correct release for your board.

Thanks all.

But the problem that I have is the next.

When I connect the sound card, on having started the computer it goes out a message of keyboard fails and remains blocked. I have a contraladora scsi ISA and a card of video PCI in the computer.

Is it a really old soundcard? The kind that requires IRQ jumpering?

The sound card is old and the model is ESS ES1868 and I can not change the IRQ.

In this direction I have found the bios for Expert 8551

http://www.hktk.com/drive/drive_bios/da ... t8551.html

I am going to try to update the bios and already will tell you.

thanks.

ESS1868-based cards are jumperless and Plug&Play compatible (I have one of them). However, there is a program than can be used to disable the PnP and set all parameters (like IRQs) manually. I remember running this card fine on a 286 computer :)
