I have a PC with a ASUS P4S800-MX MB and a P4 2.8 processor.
For the past 2 months it has been running very slowly. I have tried virus and adware cleaners but the system is still slow.
Lately it has been shutting down on its own. Some times it will not power back on for several minutes.
Often when it does power one it will show a message that there is a problem with the Power manager in BIOS.
If I go to Bios and check the power manager settings that show the temperatures and volts and RPMs, the only item that is in RED is Chassis Fan 1068 rpm.
What is the chassis fan? and could it be the casue of all these problems?
Please help!

Hi, i think that if your system shut down on its own, & if you did BIOS, then your pc must hang a lot, or it must be an older version, so you should have it checked.
