Need help on a couple of things. I have an Asus P5E VM-DO. AMI BIOS. What I want to do: Remove small intel logo in splash in bottom right hand side. Remove Post massage "Press Tab to display post message" on bottom left hand side. I believe this can be accomplished thru AMIBCP but it keep crashing....

I always leave the BIOS hard drive settings at "AUTO". I never use the autodetect utility in the BIOS. Not sure about the BIOS you used but I just flashed my ECS P6BX-A+ rev 2.1 motherboard last night with the official version 5.6 bios to support large drives. Hacking a BIOS to run an AMD CPU on an old Dell computer
I have an old Dell Optiplex GXL 5133 computer. Phoenix Rom BIOS Plus Version 1.10 A20 I would like to do an AMD K6 400 powerleap upgrade on it but the DELL BIOS has a check that prevents the computer from booting with a non-Intel CPU. I'm not sure how the check is done. Anyway, this seems like it sh...
