Normally the developer of BIOS Update files take the previous BIOS update files(or the scripts/sorurces of them) which have allready new features/solved bugs and then they add further featu...

P.S.: A list of utilities I've online for AMI BIOS: Listing the tools is really informativ, but a litle swanky. :) Do no forget to mention the really hard and time-consuming work to collect the tools and inform you about the BNOBTC. :) PS: BNOBTC v5...will be released soon. I am currently working o...

EEPROM Programmer - corrupted file
Hi for two days I have got an EEProm programmer. :) It works great, but there are troubles with some unknown EPROMS. (Which do not have any signs/chars/numbers to identify them.) I could figure out that the images of that unknown eproms are read/created in this way: $0000 first byte (of eprom) 0001 ...

No screenshot creating will be implemented in UniFlash. I don't like programs that can do a lot of things but none of them properly. There are external programs for that - as you've found, PCXDUMP can be used. Screen captures do not work when flashing is in progress because interrupts are disabled ...

Well, after short search I found one further tool which is able to dump screen to ansi file, pcx file or text file - PCXDUMP . However I does not work if UniFlash is running. It only works if Uniflash does not running anymore. (I would like to make screenshoots with the green quickinfo.) How to solv...

DIP28 -> DIP23 Adapter or Circuit
I have got many DIL28/DIP28 EEPROMS (from old mainboards) for example: AT27C256R (Atmel) NM27C5120-150 (NATIONAL Semiconductors) TMS27C512-15 (Texas Instruments) AM27C512-155DC 150B821 (AMD) and I would like to use them. Exist adapters / "converter circuits" which make it possible to use them with a...

automatic BIOS ID decryption via PHP
Greetings Wim, I have a small suggestion for your homepage. Could you insert a small interface (via php...or something else) which decodes a typed-in AMI/Award/Phoenix BIOS-ID String to clear readable information? (all numbers should be decrypted then) If you need more information about all the numb...
