Hi,
I have a Alton motherboard that I would like to flash but I'm not able to find the required info. The manual tells me its a A641A with an ALI 1641 chipset. It has an AMI Bios 62-1018-00101111-071595-A631A543-M728LMR-0 CTBIOS software reports that I have this chipset A631A543. I tried the PCChips site and I've emailed their tech support, but I haven't been able to pinpoint an exact BIOS update for this board. Can someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out.

Thanks,
Chris

Definitely take the advice of AJZ and identify your board using his tool. According to any source I've seen, Alton only made 2 PCChips motherboards. However, I got burned somewhat because my box said "Alton" and the chipset was a TXpro (not TXpro II)... unfortunately the board turned out to be an M560.
