I have a VIA VT8231 southbridge which supports UDMA but in my Award V6.00PG BIOS, there is no option to enable this. The BIOS is in a HP5700 thin client. I have tried using MODBIN6 but the menu options are not hidden, they are just not coded in.

I've been told by some very knowledgeable people that the only way to fix this is to inject some custom x86 assembly code into the main BIOS module of the BIOS. I don't know jack about this. If it's not a month long journey into the madness of BIOS, I was hoping that someone could help me out and help me modify this BIOS so I can use UDMA.
