I am here again seeking help about one of my old dead motherboard. before trying to revive, i would like to know whats the brand and model. Here are some hints that I have. Hope this will help:
1.) The PCB side doesnt have any prints to help me identify the motherboard.
2.) The component side, only V1.4 can be seen.
3.) At one of the three ISA slots (the last slot), it has a sticker "MB-586VX1". This is the strongest hint that I have.
4.) This is an AT mobo / 4 PCI / 3 ISA / 4 SIMM / intel vx chipset / Socket 7 type.
5.) It has 50/60/66/75 bus and 1.5x / 2.0x / 2.5x / 3.0x multiplier.
6.) processor vcore support: 2.5v , 2.7v, 2.8v , 2.9v , and 3.0v.
Hope somebody will enlighten me. Thanks.
Pls help me identify this mobo.
You most likely have a PCCHIPS motherboard (branded as Unitech).

@ ajzchips:
thnx for the reply. i browsed the site u suggested and there's one almost identical except the placements of the power sw, speaker, hdd led, power led, etc. But lately I stumbled into something. I think its closer to what my mobo look like. Pls have a look. Its GA-586VX from Gigabyte. Needs confirmation though.

You didn't mention any DIMMs, so possibly PcChips A101 V1.4 - here is an image for comparison:

Also, a link to settings, etc:

Given if I successfully revive this old motherboard, can this motherboard support Intel Pentium 200 MMX or non-MMX types only. Pls share your knowledge. This motherboard has 66 x 3 = 198 ~ 200 MHz. MMX or non-MMX? Which is which?

th's "original" pages state P55C only (non-MMX).
If you want to go faster, you'll need to get something like a PowerLeap adapter to put in-between the CPU and the Socket 7.

@ KachiWachi:
Thanks for the enlightenment. Appreciate it much. I think its difficult for me to look for the adapter you have mentioned in my area, so I will rest only this case into non-mmx probably 200 MHz proc. Will post soon for results. Many thanks.

@ Denniss:
Thank you so much for sharing. At least my old mobo can still run MMX processors. Thanks again for the information. More power.

Oops...
I must have been ill yesterday...thanks Denniss for the correction.
I guess I made a quick assumption when I didn't see a VRM header, and only a JP6 voltage jumper...combined with the photo and specs mentioned here -> http://th2chips.freeservers.com/a101/a101.html
Is there a separate VCore regulator present?

I installed a working Intel Pentium 200 MHz MMX processor, but then again, no joy since my motherboard will not boot. I check the processor using the my friend's motheboard and is working. My PCI video card and rams are also running. Vcore, FSB and multiplier are also checked - OK.
Any inputs?
