I have followed advice at http://www.wimsbios.com/phpBB2/topic9748.html and on SiS website. It seems that the VBIOS does not support 1440x900 (the native resolution of the Acer X193W LCD in question), and Acer do not seem to provide a solution.

The BIOS has been updated with the file at: ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/desktop/as ... r01-a3.zip

Any solution?

With thanks,
Clifford
