Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum here and just want to say hi first of all, followed by a "I hope you can help me". :)

I have a slight problem with my home build computer that I inherited. All was well until yesterday, and I might have inadvertently deleted a ethernet adapter driver... lesson learned.

My research has been sort of confusing, but I believe I have to download a chipset? I'm not really sure. I know it's related to that at the least, and I'm hoping someone can point me in the correct direction.

I managed to get BIOS Agent 3.45 on the computer, and here is my system info:

BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS 6.0
BIOS Date: 12/31/03
BIOS ID: 12/31/2003-SiS651/Sis962/IT8705-P4SP-MX
OEM Sign-On: ASUS P4SP-MX ACPI BIOS Revision 1001
Super I/0: 12/31/2003-Sis 950 rev 2 found at port 2Eh
Chipset: Sis 651 rev 2
OS: MS Windows XP Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3

Pentium 4 2800 Mhz

My question is, what exactly do I have to download, or can you point me in the direction? I hope I'm on the right track.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, even if it just means booting me out of here because I'm so off track that this is the wrong place to look for help. :)

I should also mention that I got to http://www.sis.com/download/ but paused in fear that I would be doing more damage than good.
