Need SiS VGA BIOS patched for MB ECS L4S5MG/GX+

Hi,

I found the same situation when I brought the new LCD 20" and My Mainboard was very old and cannot change resolution to widescreen. Please pacth the new SIS VGA Bios for my old mainboard's bios.

I cannot post url link for download bios file so I will give you for key word in google instead.
"BIOS for L4S5MG/GX+(PCB:3.02)"
**lastest bios version is 1.0e**

Exchanged the original 1.12.06 with the 2.30.01 vbios for sis6325 chips. Please report your experiences with this bios. See instructions here:

Bios flashed ok but still the same resolution 1024x768 still no 1440x900 or others. Maybe it because I used LCD 20" with 1600x900 that make sis vga is not compatible for it. It's time to find vga card!!! However Thanks you anyway for your kind and your time for helping me. :)

You have uninstalled the old SiS drivers and installed the new SiS VGA drivers per the instructions?

Your video bios version is 2.30 now?

You are right about this new bios not supporting 1600x900, 1440x900 is the absolute maximum, anything beyond that you need a decent graphics card... These SiS onboard graphics were made for light office use on 15"/17"monitors at the time... After that no development was done...
