bios upgrade

I am currently running WINME and am installing a new hard drive. I plan to put WIN2000 on this drive and use my old drive as a backup. How do I know if I need to update my bios. ( harddrive manufacture said to ).
Here is the info I have on my machine.

You don't need a BIOS update.
But if you want it:

Thanks Kuriaki,
The new harddrive is 160 GB, and the manufacture said if my bios is not up to date, I may only be able to format to 137 GB, and would then have to partition. I had no idea if my bios or motherboard would support this.

...it seems that with the latest BIOS, you'll get the 48-bit LBA support you need for large HDDs over 120GB.

Kuriaki,
Just out of curiosity, how did you figure out the bios I needed from the info I gave you? They are supposedly motherboard dependant.
