I got a motherboard that has a big writing that says J-656VXD-A2. I wonder what does it mean. Now my Floppy Drive (3.5 inch Diskette drive), Serial Mouse, Printer doesnt work. My current bios has a writing that says:
H.T.
???????? (I can't remeber what it says)

Can you help me with this one. I wonder if its the correct Bios Chip. If not please tell me how to Hot Flash and what files i need to Correct it.

I tried the hot flash method but didn't work, it keeps on saying: "Flash data verification error. retry write operation? Y/N

j656vxd board, with via chipset
i tried the atmel bios chip, it was detected but when i tried to write
the bin file it says the error message
i check the voltage it was 12 volts

Please post complete chip type (as detected by UniFlash) and where the error occurs - UniFlash should display something like "____XXX_____" where X means verify error and solid blocks means verify OK.
