i am running an amilo l7300 with an upgraded cpu an intel pentium m 735 1.70ghz and 2gb of memory which are both above what the manual says it should run, but it boots into windows xp and 7 with no problems, but when i try to run the faster intel pentium m 745 1.80ghz i carnt get into the bios let alone windows, is this a faulty processor or does the bios not recognise the faster cpu.
i have the latest bios ,if its the bios is there any way to edit the latest bios to recognise the faster cpu before i flash the bios rom.
thanks in advance

With the latest bios it should run all M7x5 processors BUT not the M7x5a processors, so check carefully what you bought. Needs to have 400MHz FSB.
