can u help me to solve my problem with my IBM Thinkpad 390E...
my friend install my laptop Windows XP now ihave a problem it always restart when start up progress "Windows XP"...
said the repair man need to reformat to Windows 98SE...
When i reformat ,i insert the Win 98SE to Master drive
nothing happens...
cant go to boot menu...
can u help me plz... :( :?: :?: :!:

Hmm, it is unclear at what phase of the Win98SE installation goes wrong?

Did you format your hard disk?

Do you use floppy to boot and then insert Win98SE CD?

i cant reformat when i insert the Windows 98SE or Windows ME in Master Drive nothings happen always restart and i dont have floppy... plz help me

I am not sure if you can set boot from CD in TP390.

Can you borrow a floppy station?
