Hi there, i recently bought an intel pentium m 735A because i know those cpus are mostly 780s renamed for marketing reasons.
My girlfriend has an Asus A6VA with such cpu and i got it working at 2266mhz with no problem at all, simply switching the bus from 100 to 133.
I wanted to do the same with my nx6110, now i got a 750 and i bought another tested 735A, so i know that this cpu can reach 2266mhz easily.
I installed the cpu and tried to load windows at stock speed of 1700mhz 17x100 but no way, the computer hangs. Installation also hangs up when loading nt kernel. I think it's a CPU Microcode problem. Any idea to resolve this problem? Thanks!
ps: i have the latest bios
Compaq nx6110 cpu upgrade = no way
