My HP Pavilion ZE4540CA is dead after I flashed the BIOS using the wrong version (ZE4500). Now it cannot start certainly, and no display. All blue leds are on. I tried everything, I even take apart it, but I cannot find the BIOS IC. I researched the Maintenance Manual, and accord the Manual the dead laptop would start from Floppy Disk and reprogram the BIOS automatically. Now I have a Bios Floppy Disk and a Boot-Block Jumper on parallel port, but nothing happened after I turned it on. Anybody have any idea on how to let the laptop read the Floppy Disk?
