this wierd situation allows the 1.7ghz co step cpu to function only at 600mghz speeds, yet when i decide to use cpu msr in xp,sure enough i can enable the cpu to run max speed

which proves the following
a/ the cpu is definetaly compatable despite ibms efforts to ignore support.
b/i can change the cpu on the fly back + fro at any voltage at any ratio.
c/the cpus 2 mb cache is detected regardless.
d/despite the cpu being 05 spec ,the bios is 07 spec yet ibm still refuse to support the superior cpus.
my question is i guess is there a way i can load a cpu binary code to the bios to overcome the company manipulation rort?
i tried to load the msr file from boot, unfortunately it does not work like certain p111 machines do,thus having to each time, click on the proggie to enbable max speed.
for its worth i odered half a dozen dell laptops instead of ibm/lenovo on behalf of clients, because these dirty schemes do not constutute honourable trading practices, needless to say my disgust in their ploys
