I've just started to update the BIOS for my ABIT motherboard NV7m. The BIOS updating process started (writing into the BIOS) but got hang shortly. I'm leaving my computer ON as I afraid a reboot will kill the motherboard. Can anyone advise me what to do? Thanks.

Once you have a hang, I think you are stuck. If there is no way to interrupt the hang there is no way to get back to a usable system to retry the flash. It would be useful, for example. if there were a 5-minute timeout that reloaded command.com.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

Thanks. How can I set a 5 minutes time-out to reload command.com? It would be useful for the next time round when I flash BIOS.
