Please post BIOS ID and OEM ID strings.
Something like this:
V143D.BIN : 03/11/1999-FireStar-2A5UQC29C-00
256K V1.43D

my bios is v136d.bin that one worked perfect but would not recognise the 40 gig hard drive.
i then switch to v143d found in orphan laptops, it still does not recognise the 40 gig hard drive and the display somehow moved 1/4 of an inch to the left, but its barely noticeable; other than that that bios works fine. i used the v145s and v146s both completely blankout the display and i had to remember the keys pressed under dos with awardflash in order to restore the old bios. so the bios versions ending with an s dont seem to work for me.
the other info shown in my display is 03/11/1999-firestar-2A5UQC29C-00

does anyone have a patch version of the v136d or v143d bios?
please help.

thanks
