Help to Id M/board.

Going to upgrade friends laptop but have no manuals.Any help in identifying m/board REALLY appreciated.

Thanx for reply Edwin,already read that page and all its says is NB M/board.I'am afraid that doesn't mean much to me(maybe just daft)so any info on m/board manufacturer would be great.

Are you sure its not a 4480 DVD laptop????

*Note* - Laptop boards are made specifically for a laptop maker with little or no way to trace the board back to the original manufacturer.

And also there is info on that page edwin posted. You just have to dig a little for it (with the correct model number that is).

What is it exactly you are looking for?

Its definetly a 5480.Got him to run a bios program and came up with
BOARD:UNIWILL 340S2 1.0
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 062710 01/15/2001

Cant find no reference to this board any where yet.Would just like to find some info on board(bios upgrades,drivers.etc)before upgrade his laptop.
