Do you see the new string "11/20/2000-440BX-ITE8671-2A69KV3IC-00"?

Download the file again and flash using older version of awdflash (or try AMIFlash or UniFlash - at your own risk).

do you know whats _really_ wierd?

I used your 'Uniflash' program........ and it doesn't do anything either! well it does, it goes through all steps successfully, but the release date is still the same :(

what could possibly be the matter?

Open the file using MODBIN and see the BIOS ID string (to check if you're flashing correct file).

i did it - the release date on the file (its B1120IAG.BIN btw) is 11/20/2000
Its just not flashing correctly!!!!
:(

but it goes through all the steps...
no errors...

in another post i was advised to disable Flash Write Protect do you know how I could do that?

or maybe I use the old award flasher? could you give me a link to download a suitable version of awdflash.exe?

Carefully peel away the award sticker from the bios chip and tell us what is printed on the chip itself. I have a feeling there is something wrong with the flash voltage setting. We need to find out which chip this is to find the correct setting.

That Awdflash is too old and does not work at all on your board.
Try to hot-flash the chip in another board...
