grateful for help with key sequence for Sony BIOS repair

Hello everyone,

have been going crazy getting the correct keys to press whilst powering on my Sony VAIO VGN FE31Z so that the Crisis recovery floppy is read to reflash the bad BIOS.

Came across many posts which said fn + B or Win + B but none of these work on the Sony notebook. Saw many posts of Sony notebook owners who also said that the regular Fn + B combinations did not work on their notebooks.

Is there any Sony notebook owner of laptop expert who can help with this?

There is no key sequence for the Sony Vaio line that I'm aware of or have come across on the Web. The newer models with the SPI may have a sequence associated with them.
