Hi !
I'm searchin for a manual for the following board.
GMB-486sg V2.2 made by Gemlight/Vextrec (or Vextrek?)/DTK (OEM)

This one should be the right one but is passwordprotected :(
http://america.hongfaith.com/Support/manual_update.htm

This one seems to be ok but whatever I jumper, the board allways says somethin about an unknown cpu. (I did test with an intelDX2-66)
http://home.planet.nl/~faase009/GMB-486SG.html

And this one is for rev 3.06 and doesnt match :(
http://www.bigedtech.com/oldbigedtech/D ... /486sg.htm

An hour later : found some more sites but none with rev2.2

Any other sources ??
I would be happy to find somethin cos this board should be reactivated als linuxrouter :)

thanx

Well, if the board is "saying" it doesn't recognise it, it's probable that the BIOS does not recognise it. Is your BIOS flashable ?
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

Ahm ...
The cpu was on the board before and it worked fine BUT
I wantet to upgrade the cpu, and now i don't remember where all the jumpers were. *g*

So, it definately supports the Dx2
No, the bios is not flashable !

Well here is Version 6.03 of the manual for v2 of the board.
http://mobokive.dyndns.org/Archive/Geml ... 6sg603.pdf

That might be more helpful.

Also the DTK PKM-0038S is an OEM version of the same board. Might want to check out thier site.

Already trying to work things out. I've got a v5.00 of the manual that has jumpers up to JP35, it seems the best match so far.
