Alright... I looked into the 7ixe4 bios and, yes, it is 100% compatible with the 7ixe... I guess I've proven myself wrong. I'll post some more info as it becomes available...

I've questioned whether the two boards are the same, but I'm pretty sure that because of the socket, that it will not work. I have the 7IXE too, and I use a FAA modified bios for the advanced stuff.. I'm currently working on replacing the beta FAA bios with the F7 and the ACPI patch. I'm also going ...

Well, since the majority of people on this board have problems with AWARD Bioses, I'm one of the few that has something good to say about AMI bioses... You can edit everything in them, and can do marvolous things with them.... now, to write this guide I'll need some help and info... so just post all...

Alrighty... I've got a Gigabyte 7ixe v1.1 mobo. I bought a new PC133 256MB SDRAM stick of RAM today.
