This mobo is awesome im running xpsp2 with 640mb sdram.
The processor runs smoothly however it is hot so i managed to put a intel pga375 cpu cooler on it to keep her cool.
Its still running; job was done 1 week after you guys replied.
I'm sure some people would find the AMD-INTEL combo amusing

You can set up a power socket switch that will turn on or off the hardware via phone.
You can set a modem to wake up your computer from standby.
Perhaps a remote session can turn it off?

You can repack your system Bios with vga bios roms. I have done so with many vga cards; just do it on a 1 to 1 basis or you'll overcrowd the bios. Is it possible to force this mobo's chipset to always supply 32mb ram if 512mb of ram is installed to share???

just want more than 4meg in win9x as opposed to 32mb in xp

the win2000 version works fine on xp also xp sp2
there are special hacked win98/me versions for win9x to support DX9 series hardware acceleration.

yeah its possible cuz it used to support 56k flex before they released a bios patch to support v90 then they stopped making modems

Unless you can get the contents of the bios from the manufacturer/supplier website and get it reprogrammed by a pro the only other option is to remove this eprom and load the video bios into the correct part of your system bios IF theres room for it.
