Sometimes it's not easy to identify a mainboard even if the Bios-ID is given .
Maybe add to the guidelinnes to Post the Bios OEM signon - the message just below AMI or AWARD Bios message or Logo - maybe with a picture added(if possible)

Another picture with a Bios-ID from Award or AMI will help too .
Or a complete screenshot from the startup screen with both the Bios-ID and OEM signon message

Good call. Can someone upload this locally so we're not raping Iwill's bandwidth? And maybe someone can dig up a generic BIOS id string picure?

I wonder whether Iwill just faked that screenshot - surely the real screen says "Energy Star ally" not "Energy Star allay" ? It's a good example of a helpful message though, compared with "Green PCI/ISA System" from Abit.

Heh, or just a case of Taiwanese spelling. :) My old M537+dma33 had the built-in Trend anti-virus, and it was pretty mangled.

Found one interesting picture at QDI :

With some editing to the Bios-ID section marking it as important too it may be used in Board identification and HDD support section posting guidelines how to find Bios-ID .
Useful for AMI or Award Bios

I'll add some screenshots to the AMI/Award BIOS id pages + the faq pages soon!
