Do any of you know the definition of each of the 4 DIP switches next to the CPU socket on the Armada 110 laptops? If not, could you please post your current switch positions and the processor you've got installed?
I'd appreciate this a lot.

They're for setting the BUSS speed for the various processors the system can
use:

1.0 GHz Intel Pentium III
1.0 GHz Celeron
850 MHz Intel Pentium III
850 MHZ Intel Celeron
800 MHz Intel Pentium III
700 MHz Intel Celeron

Thanks, Toby. Before you posted that, I had already contacted Neville... but he didn't have the info...
It seems like the Compaq EVO N110 uses the very same mobo, so perhaps this additional info might help...

The EVO N110 is listed as being the same, but finding info is going to be tough either way..
